Three ways: (1) Manually — dispatchers click the "Log Rate" button next to any carrier suggestion in the To Quote module and type the quoted dollar amount. (2) AI auto-parse — when a carrier replies to a rate request email sent from FreightLeads Pro, the AI automatically extracts the quoted rate and stores it with no action required. (3) Booking — when a load is dispatched to a carrier, the rate is flagged as "won," closing the loop on win/loss tracking.
Is the Log Rate button free for all subscription plans?
Yes. Manually logging a carrier's quoted rate has no AI cost — it's a simple database entry available on every plan including Starter ($39/mo). The AI auto-parse feature (extracting rates from inbound carrier email replies) counts against the 20 AI calls/month included in the Starter plan, and is unlimited on Pro and Team plans.
How is this different from DAT or Truckstop rate data?
DAT and Truckstop show market-wide, anonymous rate benchmarks. Carrier rate intelligence in FreightLeads Pro is specific to your relationships — you see what YOUR carriers quoted YOU on YOUR lanes, including which quotes were booked (won) and which were not. That win/loss data, combined with carrier-level averages over time, is not available from any market data provider. It's a proprietary dataset built from your own quoting activity.
Where do I find the Log Rate button in the app?
Go to Dispatch → To Quote. Expand any load in the queue by clicking its row. Each carrier suggestion shows a "Log Rate" button in amber. Click it, type the quoted rate, and press Enter or Save. The rate is stored instantly and the carrier's average rate on that lane updates in their suggestion entry.
