How does carrier compliance work in practice?

When you try to assign a carrier to a load, the platform checks their FMCSA authority status in real time. If their authority is inactive, you get a hard stop — not a warning, a block. Insurance expiry dates are tracked separately and trigger automated email alerts 7 days before expiry. Canadian carriers have a document vault where you store CVOR, WSIB, NSC, and W-9 certificates.
