Common questions
Does it work if I also broker loads?+
Yes — FreightLeads Pro is the only TMS that handles both. Asset loads get the full carrier workflow (driver assignment, Fleet section, settlements, POD portal). Brokered loads get carrier info, rate confirmation, margin tracking. Both in the same dispatch board.
Do I need a Motive or Samsara account?+
No. ELD integration is optional. Without it you still get full fleet management, driver settlements, compliance tracking, IFTA (with manual mileage entry), and all other features. ELD unlocks HOS on dispatch, live fleet map, and safety scores.
How does IFTA work without ELD?+
You enter jurisdiction miles manually on the Mileage tab, or we use OpenRouteService routing to estimate jurisdiction miles from your load stops. Fuel purchases are always manual entry. The calculator and report work the same either way.
What if my driver doesn't have a smartphone?+
The driver POD portal is a web link — it works on any phone with a browser. No app install, no account. If the driver has zero phone access, the dispatcher can record delivery events manually from the dispatch page.
Is it really bilingual?+
Yes — the full dispatcher interface is available in English and French. The driver POD portal is in English. Driver profiles support both Canadian Class 1/2/3 and US CDL A/B/C licence systems detected automatically from your account's currency setting.
Can I use it for owner-operators I hire on contract?+
Yes. Owner-operators have their own driver profiles with pay type set to percentage of gross or flat per load. Their settlements calculate correctly and print as remittance statements they keep for 1099/T4A. Insurance expiry fields track their cargo and liability.
